Ogeechee Technical College Launches Industrial Operations Technology Program to Meet Growing Workforce Demands
OTC announces the Industrial Operations Technology diploma program, launching this August in the Georgia Training Center for Industrial Operations. Students build a foundation in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems before advancing into robotics, PLCs, and smart automation, and graduate with SACA credentials alongside the diploma.

Intimate Beam Signing Ceremony Marks Progress for New Robotics Building
OTC faculty and staff signed one of the last beams to be installed in the Georgia Training Center for Industrial Operations during the college's Fall Professional Development Day, marking a milestone toward the building's completion.

ACE Electric Makes Generous Gift to Ogeechee Technical College to Advance Electrical & Industrial Systems Technology Program
ACE Electric donates to OTC's Electrical & Industrial Systems Technology program, with roughly half directed to lab equipment including an Amatrol trainer and transformer and the remainder supporting the Industrial Technology Building.

OTC Breaks Ground on 37,000 Sq ft Industrial Systems & Robotics Facility
OTC breaks ground on the training center at A.J. Riggs Road and Highway 301 South, a project built in partnership with Bulloch County and the Development Authority of Bulloch County to meet regional demand for industrial systems and robotics technicians.

Ogeechee Technical College Announces Development of State-of-the-Art Industrial Systems & Industrial Robotics Training Center
State funding for the training center is approved in the amended budget, clearing the way for construction near OTC's main campus and a projected tripling of the college's annual training capacity.

Commissioners, OTC to build new training facility
Bulloch County commissioners approve funding for an industrial systems and robotics training facility, the earliest public step toward what became the GTCIO. The plan called for tripling OTC's training capacity in industrial systems maintenance and robotics.

OTC offers robotics training & apprenticeships in Amazon's MRA program
OTC is selected as one of five colleges nationally to train apprentices in Amazon's Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship program, a US Department of Labor registered apprenticeship combining twelve weeks of instruction with a year of on-the-job learning.
